A born-again Christian has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and is in harmonious unison with Him. A true Christian has a Christlike character, mindset, and lifestyle, and expresses selfless, sacrificial love for others. Jesus is and gives true love. Jesus wants us to love our enemies and to love one another. Connect with Him every day! God is agape, redemptive love (1 John 4:8; John 3:16; 15:10). "For by grace are you saved through faith [in Christ’s merits and righteousness]." (Eph. 2:8). Obedience to God is the byproduct of love, and the fruit of faith.
